Day 1 – Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, we’ll depart from Arusha and head to Tarangire National Park, a two-hour drive away. Along the way, you’ll witness lively Masai settlements and the iconic African open grasslands.
Upon entering Tarangire, your exhilarating game drive will commence amidst the breathtaking savannah that surrounds the Tarangire River. The river flows year-round and serves as a vital water source for the animals during the dry season. You’ll spot the park’s abundant elephant population and other herbivores like zebras and antelopes frequenting the river, which is lined with acacia and Baobab trees. After a full day game viewing you will be driven to relax at your tented lodge Kirurumu Tarangire Lodge.

Day 2 – Tarangire National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
Following breakfast, we’ll set out for the Ngorongoro Crater, often hailed as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” The Ngorongoro Conservation Area boasts a diverse range of wildlife, including the renowned Big Five, making it one of the most sought-after safari destinations globally.
Observe the endangered black rhinoceros grazing on the grass plains and witness the countless hippopotamus relaxing in the cool water. From the comfort of your open-top car, you’ll have the opportunity to view and photograph some of Africa’s most iconic animals. The crater is inhabited by various predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas, along with large herds of wildebeest, zebras, antelope, and Cape buffalo. Undoubtedly, it’s a safari enthusiast’s paradise. Spend the night at Lemala Ngorongoro Tented Camp.

Day 3 – Ngorongoro to Lake Manyara National Park and return to Arusha
After breakfast, depart from your lodge and head to Lake Manyara National Park, a haven for photographers with some of the best game-watching opportunities in the world. Keep an eye out for the famous tree-climbing lions, who confidently rest on acacia branches, seemingly posing for photographs.
Lake Manyara is a paradise for bird-watchers, showcasing a wide variety of bird species throughout the park. Witness the impressive flocks of flamingos, graceful birds of prey soaring above, and the strikingly colorful lilac-breasted roller.
In the afternoon, you’ll opt to overnight in Manyara region at Ngorongoro Forest Tented Camp or return to overnight in Arusha or departure depends with your flight schedule, concluding this remarkable journey through Tanzania’s magnificent Northern Circuit parks.
